The complexity here comes from mixing grapes (over 90% Sangiovese) from different soils. In the mouth, a fruity start of dark fruit which then mixes with a rather intense spicy touch, partly inherited from aging in mostly small barrels. An acidic tannin gives further momentum in the finish.
