The Vesuvio Rosso from the Sorrentino winery is made with Piedirosso and Aglianico grapes. The vineyards from which the grapes come are located on rich volcanic-sandy soils at an average altitude of 250 meters above sea level. After the manual harvest completed around mid-September, the grapes are fermented in steel to preserve the fruit fragrance. The creation of the blend and bottling follow. Of a medium intensity ruby red colour, it has hints of red fruits such as raspberries and wild blackberries, finished with a gentle spiciness.

Good ventilation and perceptible temperature variations guarantee healthy grapes with great aromatic concentration. After the manual harvest completed around mid-September, the grapes are fermented in steel to guarantee a fresh wine with well-refined primary aromas. Straw yellow in colour, it has hints of exotic fruits, with hints of grapefruit and notes of wild herbs. On the palate it opens the sip with an interesting minerality which is tempered by fruity hints of white melon and peach. With an excellent structure, it is pleasant to drink and has a medium-long persistence.
