The Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio is made with Piedirosso and Aglianico grapes. The vineyards from which the grapes come are located on rich volcanic-sandy soils at an average altitude of 500 meters above sea level. After the manual harvest completed around mid-October, the grapes are fermented in steel and aged for 2 months in the bottle before marketing.
