Il “Bonsai” nasce dal vigneto più denso del mondo, dove ritroviamo addirittura 62.500 piante per ettaro. Le viti di sangiovese crescono con una competizione assurda, che le porta a sviluppare le radici in grandissima profondità, accompagnando a vendemmia pochissimi grappoli, ma di una qualità davvero eccelsa. Alla vista si presenta con un colore rosso rubino concentrato, attraversato da leggeri riflessi porpora nell’unghia. Il ventaglio di profumi che si propaga al naso racconta note di fragole e ciliegie mature, arricchite da sentori balsamici e tocchi di erbe mediterranee. Al palato è di ottimo corpo, equilibrato, con un sorso sapido che termina con un finale lungo, caratterizzato da un leggero retrogusto amarognolo.
