To enhance all its richness and allow the various components to blend perfectly with each other and give us a fully expressed wine, but capable of a very long life, Barolo Riserva ages 3 years in traditional large Slavonian oak barrels, which contribute to make it harmonious and balanced and increase the finesse of the bouquet. It completes its refinement in the bottle for several months and can only be marketed approximately 6 years after the harvest. The maturation plateau of Barolo Riserva exceeds 30 years. The color is intense garnet red, gradually permeated by orange reflections over the years. The scent is intense with clear hints of violet, rose and spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, which, over time, evolve into tobacco, leather, truffle. The flavor is elegant, dry, austere but velvety, harmonious, enveloping, with abundant tannins, well expressed, but soft and pleasant.
