EXTENDED PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A blend composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot which would not look out of place if it had Château written on the label. The nose only confirms this, given that, alongside suggestions of red fruit, it displays the dusty note of citrus peel, so typical in Saint-Èmilion. With these premises the mouth can only be aristocratic and wide.

Vignaferrovia is produced only in the best years from a small vineyard of approximately 4 and a half hectares, adjacent to the ancient Pian delle Vigne station, resting on a soil that is generally clayey and calcareous, rich in small skeleton. It is an elegant, enveloping wine, characterized by a dense tannic texture supported by great freshness and sweetness.
